Spring Special at Grand Targhee
Join us for a short, half-hour sled ride and meet the team at the base of Grand Targhee Resort! Conditions permitting, we will offer tours through April 2025.
What’s Included: Plan to arrive 5 minutes early to go over paperwork and a brief safety chat. Guests are then loaded into a dogsled pulled by a team of Siberian and Alaskan Huskies and driven by one of our experienced guides. We’ll stick to the non-motorized cross country ski trails in an open meadow, with great views of the mountains and resort. After making a stop for photos and to meet the team, we’ll head back to the staging area to meet more dogs! Along the ride there will be photo opportunities with the team. Trail time is approximately 30 minutes, depending on weather conditions.
Spring Conditions: Please be aware there is a chance we would need to either reschedule or cancel your tour depending on weather and trail conditions. Temperatures are always unpredictable in the mud season months of April and May. A few consecutive days of sunshine can cause the trail to deteriorate rapidly, or warm air temps with no overnight freeze could make the trail too soft to run until the next freeze occurs. If we must cancel your tour for any reason we would issue a full refund.
Pricing: $200/sled. Each sled fits up to 2 guests. We have 2 sleds in our inventory that we can send out at any given hour time slot. Each sled can accommodate up to 2 guests, so we can host a maximum of 4 guests per time slot. Please give us a call or send us an email if you are interested in booking tours for groups of 5 or more.
Restrictions: The minimum age for this experience is 2 years old. All children 13 or younger must be accompanied by an adult in the same sled. Additionally, we ask that all participants are able to sit upright, stand, and walk unassisted. We have 2 sleds in our inventory that we can send out at any given time slot. Each sled can accommodate up to 2 guests with a 400lb max combined weight limit. We can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests per time slot.
Cancellation Policy: If you must cancel for any reason, please let us know at least 48 hours prior to your tour date to receive a full refund. Trips cancelled within the 48 hour window will result in a trip credit for future use. If we must cancel your tour for any reason we would issue a full refund.
